Worst customer service..... I have been in customer service my entire adult life.... When I called to order roses for a friend that returned to work I asked the gentle man answering the phone how much roses were and he told me $3.95 each but he would not sell just one. I said I wasn't planning on only buying one. Asked if they could deliver to the clinic in Staples and he said yes but I would have to order at least $12.00 worth of product and then they have a $5.00 delivery fee, which was totally fine with me as I was planning on purchasing several flowers for my friend along with a vase. Once he had my order, he said "I need you name" I responded with my name and then asked that he not put it on the card as I did not want my friend knowing who they came from. He then could not hear what I said my name was so I repeated it for him several times and even spelt it. He still could not understand so he rudely says "I can't understand what you are saying" and put a woman on, who also had a bit of a tough time hearing me. I apologized and spelt my name using acronyms for her, she was able to get it correct. Then after giving her my credit card info she gave me a total and I told her I needed to switch cards so she took my different card and said they would deliver them this afternoon. I had no idea they did not even try to process my card at that time and thought all was well. About an hour and a half later I get a call from the gentleman on my work phone who is telling me they will not be delivering my order as my card was declined. I explained to him there is money on there and even pulled up my account to verify. There was MORE than enough to cover my order and he still proceeded to tell me my card was "BAD"! I asked him to please confirm the numbers I had given the woman as maybe she transposed something. He said once they enter it the numbers disappear. Ok if that's the case then fine, but I offered to re-read him the numbers and he said "that's not going to do any good, your card is BAD" I again told him, Sir I am looking at my bank account right now and there is money for this purchase. He took the numbers again and tried to run it, I asked him how he was running it weather it was being ran as credit or debit and he told me " It didn't matter, they all run the same and your card is bad" I tried to explain before he again rudely cut me off that I know for a fact if my card is not ran the correct way it will decline. After he was so rude I finally said fine, and guess what I took my business else where and THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS with my card. So thank you Williams Floral & Nursery for your below average service or lack of. I was able to get a much better floral arrangement for $12.00 less than what you wanted to charge!
